I happened to have made some incredibly delicious lemonade, and since it is summer, I felt it was essential to share it. I wish I could write more about it, but you may just have to make it to believe it for yourself!

On a side note, I am a naturalist when it comes to food, so waste not. When following these directions put everything in the mix including seeds and maybe a little zest too!

Raspberry Basil Lemonade

5 large lemons, juiced
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/3 cup organic or fresh raspberries
3/4 cup Sugar in the Raw
5 fresh basil leaves
5 cups cold water

Place into a festive pitcher lemon juice and zest, raspberries, sugar and basil. Muddle together and let mixture sit for 10-15 minutes. This will allow the oils in the zest and basil to seep into the mixture. Add water and mix well. For added flaver, place some slices of lemon into the pitcher. Serve over ice with some raspberries and basil for garnish. Yummmmmmm.
